The NASA Ames Exploration Center is a visitor center at the entrance of NASA’s Ames Research Center at Moffett Field. Among moon rocks and other exhibits, the center includes the Mercury-Redstone 1A capsule that was launched in 1960 in a suborbital flight. Check website for museum operating hours.
