Convention Center Santa Clara Convention Center Awards and Recognition The Santa Clara Convention Center is an award winning facility for meetings, conferences, trade shows, expos, and special events in the Silicon Valley.  "2010 Inner Circle Award Winner" - Association Meetings The Convention Center has been recognized among the top 14 convention centers in the U.S. by readers of Association Meetings magazine. This marks the 12th year Association Meetings readers have honored top convention centers. Santa Clara and San Diego were the only two California cities on the list. 
"Best Event Venue" - 2010 SVCA Hospitality AwardsThe Convention Center has been named "Best Event Venue" by the Silicon Valley Concierge Association (SVCA). The association's 2010 Hospitality Awards marks the 15th year that SVCA has honored excellence in the Silicon Valley hospitality community.  2003-2011 WRAP Award (Waste Reduction Awards Program)
For its efforts to reduce waste, the Santa Clara Convention Center has been recognized by the California Integrated Waste Management Board by receiving the WRAP Award. Santa Clara's recycling program has reduced waste by nearly 101 tons this past fiscal year. The Center's program includes recycling paper, cardboard, glass, and aluminum. In addition, the Center's full service, caterer, ARAMARK, contributes to Second Harvest Food Bank.  2003 Planner's Choice AwardPresented by Meeting News magazine, the Planner's Choice Award is awarded for Excellence in Meeting Services and Facilities. Professional corporate and association meeting planners selected Santa Clara's Center for exceptional convention and hospitality service. The voting criteria included excellence in helpfulness and expertise of on-site convention center staff, design and quality of conference breakout rooms, and food service and location. |
